It’s May and summer is just around the corner. By now, no matter where you live in the US, you will have shaken off your winter slumber and begun to take some nice long walks in the outdoors.

It’s appropriate then that May is Lyme Awareness month. Lyme disease is the most common tick-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. Borrelia is most commonly transmitted to humans by the bite of infected ticks belonging to a few species of the genus Ixodes. Early symptoms may include fever, headache, fatigue, depression, and a characteristic circular skin rash called erythema migrans. Left untreated, this disease brings on complications that may involve the joints, heart, and central nervous system.

The disease is often left untreated because of lack of awareness and/or misdiagnosis. Luckily we have a whole new group of alternative doctors helping the Lyme community to raise awareness and educate people to both protect themselves and get proper treatment as quickly as possible. It is vital to get educated so that you can recognize the early symptoms. Read this Lyme guide for the basics and then this read this article re-printed from David Williams MD on our Lyme disease page.

The symptoms of Lyme disease mimic so many other diseases and often go untreated until the symptoms move to a secondary and much more debilitating levels of dis ‘ease‘. For these people the ease is literally gone from their lives and for many there seems no light at the end of the tunnel.

If you, or someone you love, are one of the unlucky ones dealing with the nasty effects of the Borrelia bacteria, I can tell you that if you are reading this post there is good news on the horizon. Dr Staninger, after years of research with advanced nanomaterials (aka Morgellons), will be directing her focus to Lyme Disease. Her protocol, which has 100% success rate for those who successfully complete it, can be adapted to help the Lyme sufferer also.

Dr. Staninger plans to do a in-depth study to prove her findings. If you have Lyme and don’t want to wait for the outcome of the study, learn more about what you can do immediately for Lyme and for your overall health.
