Our Liver is involved in over 500 different jobs for maintaining health in the body, so it is very wise to pay attention to it before any issues arise.

Here are 3 easy ways to take care of your Liver that you may not have thought about…

Number 1 is my favorite and strongly recommended by Edgar Cayce for all kind of ailments and issues.

It’s a Castor oil heat pack (you can use it just about anywhere).

Edgar Cayce (lived 1877-1945) has been called the “sleeping prophet,” the “father of holistic medicine,” and the most documented psychic of the 20th century. The majority of Edgar Cayce’s readings deal with holistic health and the treatment of illness.

He nicknamed Castor Oil, “The Hands of Christ” for the amazing health benefit and relief this application provides as a healing treatment.

What you need and how to do it:

Castor Oil is inexpensive and available at almost any health food store or drug store, and I recommend buying the large bottle, it won’t go bad and you will like it and keep using it!

You apply the Castor oil to the right-side ribcage and even onto your tummy if you wish. Place a flannel or 100% cotton cloth over this and then apply my favorite heat source, Far Infrared Radiant heat pad, or go in the Far Infrared Sauna for at least 20 minutes.

You can use a hot water bottle too, but I don’t recommend a conventional heat pad because of the wires or heat elements which can cause a harmful EMF field that emits from most regular heating pads.

I also recommend putting down a large old towel to protect either the bedding or furniture you are on when administering this liver health protocol.

Number 2 is Hydration.

I was reading the book, “Your Body’s Many Cries For Water” by Dr. Batmanghelidji, and learned some amazing things I didn’t know.

The good doctor makes strong comments about how effective dehydration is at leading us down the hill to poor health and lists case studies of conditions like all kinds of digestive disorders, high cholesterol, asthma, MS, Chronic Fatigue, etc are successfully treated back to wellness by proper hydration.

And he says one of the most important times to drink water is Before a meal. I quote, ” If we begin to appreciate that for the process of digestion of food, water is the most essential ingredient, most of the battle is won.”

When we are dehydrated, the liver will deliver a highly concentrated (literally thicker) blood to the heart and rest of the body, which increases the stress level of all these organs and cells the concentrated blood comes in contact with.

Here’s are really interesting fact:
High cholesterol levels are indication that an individual is significantly dehydrated!

We should drink enough to keep the urine pale during the day. The body loses about 10-12 cups of water through the skin, lungs, and elimination. Food provides two to four cups of water, leaving us six to eight glasses of water to drink.

Number 3 is Dry Skin Brushing.

A good time to do this is right before your daily shower, not only because it will be easy to remember but also because the shower will help accelerate the cleansing process after dry brushing

Always use brush strokes toward the heart.

Brushing towards the heart facilitates detoxification, while brushing away from the heart can adversely affect circulation in the blood vessels and lymph system. You can experiment to find a method of brushing that is comfortable to you, but some general guidelines are to stroke from your hands up your arms several times, covering all areas of skin. Then stroke the brush from your feet to the top of your legs in the same way.

Use several clockwise strokes on the stomach, both sides of the chest, and your arm pits. Then repeat these areas with counterclockwise motion. You can also brush in a circular motion on the palms of your hands and soles of your feet. Concentrate on areas which suffer from dryness or cellulite, but avoid areas of broken skin or rashes.”

Back in May 2010 the ewg.org reported that the President’s Cancer Panel asserted public health officials have “grossly underestimated” the likelihood that environmental contaminants trigger a large proportion of the cancers diagnosed in 1.5 million Americans annually.

In April of 2013, a new study links health problems and diseases including Parkinson’s, infertility and cancers, to the heavy use of the world’s most popular herbicide, Roundup.

“Glyphosate,” is the active ingredient in Round UP Ready seeds and Roundup weed killer, which is sprayed over millions of acres of crops, and has been found in food.

Research scientist from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stephanie Seneff and Anthony Samsel, a retired science consultant from Arthur D. Little, Inc, released the study stating, “Negative impact on the body is insidious and manifests slowly over time as inflammation damages cellular systems throughout the body.”

Monsanto and other leading industry experts have said for years that glyphosate is proven safe, and has a less damaging impact on the environment than other commonly used chemicals.

According to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) data from 2007, as much as 185,000,000 pounds of glyphosate was used by U.S. farmers, double the amount used six years prior.

We “have hit upon something very important that needs to be taken seriously and further investigated,” Seneff said.

How quickly is our government responding to that call?

The EPA is conducting a standard registration review of glyphosate and has set a deadline of 2015 for determining if use should be limited.

When I looked at the EPAs page on what a standard registration review is, I noticed this sentence:

Note that whenever EPA determines there are urgent human and environmental risks from pesticide exposures that require prompt attention, the Agency will take appropriate regulatory action, regardless of the registration review status of that pesticide.

Hmmmm….
I’m really curious, who can read these reports and Not think prompt attention is required because of ‘urgent human and environmental risks from pesticide exposures’?

Instead, we will get approximately 370,000,000 more pounds of the toxic chemical Round Up circulating into our food chain for 2 more years and then what??

Perhaps we wait another 5 years after that for bogus letigations and regulatory BS that may get the monopoly giant, Monsanto, to take this product off market?
Yeah, like that’s going to happen. NOT.

Why wait for the government to decide?

With reports using language like, “Negative impact manifests slowly over time as inflammation damages cellular systems throughout the body” and “public health officials have ‘grossly underestimated’ the likelihood that environmental contaminants trigger a large proportion of the cancers…” this sure has my attention!

Please stop using Round Up Weedkiller before our children become the victims to yet another perfect example of the “Corporate Congress” system we have running our government right now!

The Seven Keys to Mindful Health, another way to say – How To Recover Now!

Over the years, folks have asked where is a good lab to do a profile screening for exposure to toxicities associated with the presentation of Morgellons disease, Chronic Fatigue, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, and many Auto-immune disorders.

Why Monsanto is (and rightfully so) the most hated corporation in America!

Writing this post makes me think of the movie, “Children of Men”. Here’s the trailer, watch it because even though it is ‘Hollywood’, this may very likely be our future.

Monsanto, the chemical giant that gave us poisons like Agent Orange and DDT, has a super-profitable take over agenda targeted at our food.

Monsanto’s back story that isn’t as well known:

You should probably read that sentence again because this is now happening to our food AND medicines!

Today, Monsanto is The Leader in producing genetically engineered (GE) seed and the herbicide glyphosate aka RoundUP.

Why are we buying our food and seeds from a company that produces toxic chemicals, synthetic DNA, and plastics?

Monsanto is trampling small farmers and small businesses with vast ‘monoculture’ farms of single crops which leech the land of nutrients, diminish genetic diversity, and create dependency on fertilizers, pesticides and other chemicals.

Monsanto’s near monopoly is breath-taking, with patent rights over 96% of the GM seeds planted in the US. And despite concerns about health and safety, the same patents allow Monsanto to prevent any farmer or scientist from testing their seeds!

How can we make a difference against a giant like this?
A few countries have successfully banned or restricted Monsanto products. If these small countries can do this, then the Mighty Americas can as well!

Our governments should step in, but Monsanto’s lobbying obstructs them.

A Monopoly and Mono-culture strategy is taking over “Our Right to Choose what we Eat”.

Here is Monsanto’s political contributions list paid to our state level government (they aren’t ‘allowed’ to make federal level contributions, Thank god!).

They spent $8,397,767 in Total Contributions from July 1, 2012 – December 31, 2012.

Monsanto isn’t actually hiding much, they are just full on capable of pulling this off.
Monsanto’s website states:

“Monsanto is committed to participating constructively in the political process, as such participation is essential to the Company’s long-term success.

The Monsanto Good Government Fund

Monsanto’s participation in the political process includes contributions to political candidates in a manner that is compliant with all applicable laws and reporting requirements. The Company’s political contributions at the state level are limited to those states where such contributions are permitted. Such contributions are based on advancing the best interests of Monsanto and its shareowners, including consideration of the Company’s interests in the state, legislative activity in the state, Company facilities and employees in the state and local political factors.”

Hello?!

These folks are quickly monopolizing one of the most necessary resources for us to flourish and survive.

Independent research shows a correlation between the introduction of Genetically Modified Organisms, Genetically Engineered Seeds, and Glyphosate and the dramatic increase in cancers affecting the reproductive organs and the digestive system (colon cancer), as well as diseases affecting our immune systems and endocrine systems which are the major control centers for a healthy functioning body.

What can we do?

Even if you already know all this and even if you’ve already signed some kind of petition, please don’t think you can stop there.

When I step back from the initial outrage I feel after hearing the stories from folks with the Morgellons disease syndrome who just want to find decent medical help, and can’t, I realize, we may actually be very lucky.

Huh?! – Yeah I mean, for those of us who have battled this mysterious skin condition, we are ahead of the game in terms of discovering we must take our health into our own hands…we can not rely on an outdated, under educated medical system to help us.

We must do everything possible to clean up our diets, stop using harmful household cleaning products, toxic skin care products, and popping any pill just because the doc says so or because its advertised on the TV.

I like to think of what is going for us as this:

We are a group of individuals who’ve been given the “early adapter opportunity” to make the Absolutely Necessary changes required in order to live healthy and vital the rest of our lives.

I believe what is coming down the pike, in terms of health risks, is going to potentially be the single greatest catastrophe for human-kind, and all life for that matter.

Pay attention NOW, this is the message that Morgellons, MRSA, Lyme, MCS, Hashimoto, Parkinson’s (I’ll skip adding the whole list) are delivering! And with great earnest we must Pay Attention to the underlying root causes.

The real problem is Hyper toxicity; whether its metals, nanos, biologicals, GMOs, man-made, mother nature enhanced, chemtrails, industrial pollution, radiation (I’ll skip adding the whole list:).

So NOW the question is,

Are we going to listen now, before it is too late?!

How can we find a solution to our growing healthcare crisis?

Today, we are reviewing what may be The only choice left among our Healthcare strategies, to effectively provide quality care for us all and the Good News is, it’s proven to work.

The HR 933 Section 735 on Bio-tech foods is one our greatest health risks passed into law, to date.

Mainstream news headlines reported what sounded like good news –
“To Avert Government Shutdown“, however, this new law also includes the ‘Monsanto Protection Act’, a bio tech rider now allowing companies like Monsanto, Syngenta, Dow and DuPont to evade serious scientific or regulatory review.

This new bill has given judicial amnesty for Bio-tech companies developing the GMO crops, even if later these genetically modified foods and seeds are ultimately proven to be harmful to human health or the environment, Section 735 allows them to be planted the minute the USDA approves them!

A statement on the Monsanto blog, in no uncertain terms, highlights their own ability to lobby and influence our government:

” In addition, we look forward to working with Congress to find additional solutions to strengthen the regulatory framework and improve the efficiency and predictability of the Coordinated Framework for the Regulation of Biotechnology.”

Translation:

We look forward to continually influencing law makers and assuring the biotech (and chemical) industry is successful and effective in its monopoly control over global farming practices and access to seeds.

Meanwhile, farmers in India are committing suicide because of their newly acquired debt to these Bio-tech seed companies. This in turn adds to the devastation of the people and the increased profit for these companies.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is certainly under scrutiny for his rather obvious bias in favor of Monsanto. Facts do confirm, Thomas was once employed by Monsanto as an attorney.

In 2001, while holding his supreme court seat, he wrote the ‘majority opinion’ in favor of the business opportunity which found that “newly developed plant breeds (aka Biotech foods, GM foods, GMOs are patentable under the general utility patent laws of the United States.”

Monsanto is the number One share holder in this business opportunity.

There is a great deal of misunderstanding about the function of fats and oils in our diet and even more confusion about what is a ‘Good Oil vs a Bad Oil‘.

I’m sorry to say, we’ve been duped by both the food industry giants and our privatized medical system.

They are literally keeping us in the dark around our genuine health concerns; like whether we need a “Low Fat Diet” and the “Good Cholesterol, Bad Cholesterol” issue.

Instead of being educated on the real biological and chemical responses happening in our body when eat, we are either sold a pill (Liptor is the #1 most prescribed medicine in the US) or even worse, we’re being told the foods we eat are part of a nutritious, natural meal!

No doubt, consuming a large amount of saturated fats (animal fats) does pose greater health risks. However, the real issue may be more due to the fact that these conventionally farmed meats are loaded with antibiotics, glyphosate aka RoundUp weedkiller, GMOs, chemical toxins including pesticides and the general health of all these animals is appalling.

They are feeding us sick, diseased, stressed out animals!

The food industry would like us to believe the polyunsaturated fats are good for us but this is far, far from the truth.

Over 80% of the veggie oils sold on the market today are a genetically modified food. This includes canola, corn, soy, cottonseed, and ‘oil blends’.

The food industry has also led us to believe that Coconut oil is bad for us, especially when heated and this is also far, far from the truth!

Coconut oil, when combined with a balanced diet of fresh foods, lowers cholesterol to normal by promoting its conversion into pregnenolone.

Pregnenolone belongs to a group of neurosteroids found in high concentrations in certain areas of the brain. Neurosteroids affect synaptic function, are neuroprotective and enhance myelinization (the insulating sheath covering over nerves).

Since the l930s, it has been clearly established that suppression of the thyroid will raise serum cholesterol (while increasing mortality from infections, cancer, and heart disease), therefore restoring the thyroid hormone brings cholesterol down to normal.

By l950, it was established that unsaturated fats suppress the metabolic rate, apparently creating hypothyroidism.

The more unsaturated the oils are, the more specifically they suppress tissue response to the thyroid hormone.

In aminal studies starting in the 40′s, coconut oil proved to have anti-obesity effects and is the reason it is NOT used in commercial feeds, because it is literally too hard to fatten a cow or pig that is eating coconut oil!

Just as metabolism is “activated” by consumption of coconut oil, which prevents the inhibiting effect of unsaturated oils, other inhibited processes, such as clot removal and phagocytosis, will probably tend to be restored by continuing use of coconut oil.

Now check this very important fact out:

Consequently, folks that have followed low fat diets for as much as 11 years, create an inability to digest fats and results in excema and problems of skin and hair.

I searched long and hard for a food pyramid chart that I agree completely with and can’t find it – guess I’ll have to make my own.

So for now, I recommend keeping it simple, and consume only organic coconut or olive oils and only eat dairy if its organic and raw (which will have to be another subject for the Myth busters files)…

Remember the Pleomorphic model of health?

How our Bio-terrain affects disease conditions may be the most important factor for whether we are healthy or sick. Diet is absolutely a key aspect of this but it isn’t about trying to starve out the fungal loads – it is cleansing them out that works best.

Fungii are survivors and they are very hard to get rid of.

Micro-organisms, just like any other organism, will adapt to survive…so even though there will ‘some’ effect to taking away a fungii food source (sugars, simple carbs, etc) they will eventually adapt to our starvation tactic and either find another food source within our cellular terrain, or they may even go dormant and shut down so as to perserve their life force until we slip up and eat a piece of fruit or bread.

I have had this working title for a post for quite a while, but today the message has taken on a different slant.

An article in Mother Jones (Feb. 6) confirms what Stephen Scott is saying in this video – we have a superweed epidemic, much like the issue of superbugs in our hospitals (antibiotic resistant pathogens), super weeds are taking over our farmland.

As of 2012, almost 50% of US farms had superweeds.

In 2011, it was only 34%.

Today, in Georgia, it is now 92%.

The total acreage of US farmland with resistant superweeds jumped by 51% in 2012. In 2011, it was a 25% increase.

Stand this news report up next to the 2009 report from The Union of Concerned Scientists’ titled “Failure to Yield”, which emphatically stated: “Commercial GE [genetically engineered] crops have made no inroads so far into raising the intrinsic or potential yields of any crop.”

A USDA report states: “GE crops available for commercial use do not increase the yield potential. In fact, yield may even decrease…”

In this video interview with Stephen Scott, he cites a study from the USDA which reveals today our fruits and vegetables now have 80% less mineral nutrition than ever.

I’d say, Houston we have a problem!

We can conclude from these reports that Monsanto’s chemical spraying and genetically engineered seed strategy to ‘Feed the world’ is actually under nourishing and poisoning us, causing a Superweed crisis, and is now under scrutiny to prove if there is any significant increase in yield production.

He delivers this intense information with wit and grace.

In this morning’s session, he gave examples of how he shares the truths about GM Foods, the major health risks associated with eating these altered foods, and his prime objective to create a tipping point in consumer awareness to affect a change.

This week is a very special one in the state of Arizona as renown speaker and GMO free food advocate Jeffery Smith is on an educational lecture series.

The most current poll today says 93% of Americans want their food labeled.

According the CBS news video report, the US congress has never put this to a vote…directly violating one of our most basic rights, the right to choose.

However, most packaged foods have GM ingredients and we’ve been eating them as far back as the 1990′s.

90% of soybean crops and nearly 3/4 of all corn products we eat today are GM foods.

About 65% of the foods in our grocery stores contain DNA altered ingredients.

“They didn’t want it labeled because they were terrified that if it were labeled, no one would buy it.” ~ Marion Nestle Former FDA advisor

Before the FDA decided to allow GMOs into food without labeling, FDA scientists had repeatedly warned that GM foods can create unpredictable, hard-to-detect side effects, including allergies, toxins, new diseases, and nutritional problems. They urged long-term safety studies, but were ignored.

Today FDA still stands by the idea labeling is not required because GM foods are “Substantially equivalent” to conventional foods.

Center Food Safety says that’s a bunch of baloney – “every cell of these new foods has foreign bacteria, viruses, genetic constructs, anti-biotic ‘bugs’ – these are all laboratory constructs that are put into every cell of these foods. They are not Substantially Equivalent!”

As research continues, here are some alarming findings:

• Thousands of sheep, buffalo, and goats in India died after grazing on Bt cotton plants
• By the third generation, most GM soy-fed hamsters lost the ability to have babies
• Cooked GM soy contains as much as 7-times the amount of a known soy allergen
• Soy allergies skyrocketed by 50% in the UK, soon after GM soy was introduced
• The stomach lining of rats fed GM potatoes showed excessive cell growth, a condition that may lead to cancer
• Studies showed organ lesions, altered liver and pancreas cells, changed enzyme levels, etc

Several months ago, someone excitedly purchased a Far Infrared Sauna from us.

He found our website and after doing some of his own research, he knew that Far Infrared Therapy would be one of the most important tools for his recovery from Morgellons disease.

According to research done in China, they discovered by exposing a wound to Far Infrared, it increased the speed time of healing.

The holidays are behind us but Not some of the leftover effects!

My quandary while traveling and celebrating this holiday season was simple – my diet is normally at least 80% Organic and 95% GMO-free, but this is not the case for the family and friends I was visiting.

Ever since my Recovery from Lyme and Morgellons, I know how important eating as ‘clean’ as possible is for my life long pursuit of health and vitality.

I did my best to stock my Dad’s fridge with Organic, non-GM foods but half the time, I was eating out at restaurants or at a party.

I would have gone very hungry if I didn’t partake in the festive foods served!

My solution?

First, I always travel with many of my tried and true remedies:

• Systemic enzymes to work overnight to help dissolve the extra sludge my system has to process.
• Opaline Dry Oxygen for the bad air from airplane flights, moldy environments, and the possibility of a bad batch of food.
• Inner Solutions for extra strength detoxing of polymers in food, air, and water sources AND it has really helped me fight off the contagious vectors of mingling with folks who are carrying a pathogen and sneezing it my way.
• Digestive support herbal remedies for helping to keep my intestines supported while eating processed foods and celebratory drinks!

Finally and as always, I pack my Far Infrared heating pad (it fits in a large suitcase) and place it over me every night to help stimulate the deep flushing nature of our cells and push out the holiday toxins.

Now that the holidays are over, I am back home and paying closer attention to my Liver – I have to admit that I enjoyed the spirits more than usual so I am focusing on my liver with a daily shot of Apple Cider Vinegar in a small glass of Organic apple juice and a tablespoon of Organic olive oil.
