Details on the Far Infrared Sauna by MPS Global

MPS Global Far Infrared Sauna
I was responding to some questions from one of our readers/members about the new purchase of their MPS Global far infrared saunaand thought it would good to share with the community.
The far sauna is the size of a large armoire…48” Wide x 48” Deep x 72” Height. It’s total weight is 500 pounds however it is surprisingly movable and easy to set up because it comes apart in pieces like a Lego set.
The base sits on the floor (obviously) and has grooves that hold the two full back walls and the two sides that are like a half wall and sliding glass doors. Once those are set into the grooves, you place the piece on top. There are buckles that snap down from the top piece to the side walls and voila- you plug it in and enjoy your first sauna in less than 30 minutes from the time it arrives at your door.
One important consideration as to where to put your sauna is the electrical outlet you plug it into is supposed to be a dedicated line. It requires 12 full amps. It will plug into any regular outlet in your house but you can not run any other electrical appliance on this circuit while the sauna is in use. It will simply trip the breaker. Now I have gotten creative for an easy work around.
When doing a session at night, I use candles for extra light inside the room besides the light that is inside the sauna, and I bought one of those battery operated wall mountable lights from Home Depot for the bathroom. My bathroom is on the same circuit and was problematic if I had to go to the restroom during the session.
If you are going to use an extension cord to get to a more remote plug on another line in your house, you must use an electrician grade extension cord used for operating large saws and things like this. Again, these can be purchased at Home Depot. Please use caution with this strategy and be sure you are using the proper equipment cord.
When the sauna is not in use, you do not have to worry about tripping the breaker. I recommend checking that your sauna is plugged in properly on a regular basis. Now you are ready to turn it on.
Usually when I turn on my sauna, it starts at room temp of 68ish. I go make my water bottle up (either Willard Water or 2 drops of chac mool, yellow, in 8oz of H2O) and spray on some Vermiizyme, Das Wasser, or 1876 Blue Agave (depending on what I want to accomplish – all of these are part of Dr Staninger’s skin recovery program and vital to supporting your skin during healing). I took the smaller wooden bench out and just use the long one, putting a towel over it because your going to get sweaty.
Then I jump in – I like it hot so that’s why I give it 5 minutes or so to get going. The temperature selection button lets you set it to the maximum you want during the session. I have never set it more than 125 degrees- I usually go for 118- because I want to stay in a minimum of 45 minutes- an hour is perfect… and too much more knocks me out too much in terms of energy for the rest of the day.
It is not about the heat – it is the amount of time that the carbon panels stay on- so after I got used to the sessions, if I heard the panels turn off because they hit the temp setting of 118 for example …I would open the door a bit to let out the heat and make the panels cycle back on. You can keep the door open and it won’t get in the way of that panel that sits behind it. You have 6.5 panels for maximum exposure: 2 on each back wall, 1 on each half side and the 1/2 panel is on the ceiling so it makes a 360 degree range of exposure. Even though there is not one on the floor, the one in the ceiling will penetrate from the top and the bottom panels on the walls will penetrate from there.
Your ideal length of exposure to the FIR is an hour; however, Dr. Staninger has reported that you can not get too much far infrared. Whatever your body does not use simply passes on through.
The first few times you may only make it 30-40 minutes. Don’t push past your internal guidance- if you get the feeling to come out- please follow this.
Drink lots of water the hour before and during and after the session. If you keep getting the wipe out feeling, it generally means you are not drinking enough water.
If you take your supplements near the time of your session, Dr. Staninger says it makes them more effective. I notice this in particular with the Chac mool I use for cleaning the nano materials out of the cells. This is one of my favorite products from her and I make the ‘one dose a day’ be during my sauna. If you use the Chac mool, do not take more than 2 drops once a day in 8 oz of water – it is 10x stronger than Willard Water. However, drinking 2-4 glasses of Willard Water will also do the trick.
My skin began to get the same texture and elasticity feeling like when I was a young adult, in my twenties. The combination of her skin products and this sauna are my fountain of youth strategy for really soft skin. This was what I noticed after the detoxing phase of plastics and rashes was gone. I had some of the ‘alligator skin’ phenomenon occurring on my shoulders and arms where it looked all mottled in the pigmentation and over time, that is now gone as well.
My first run of her protocol, I was in the sauna everyday as a detox therapy for about an hour for 45 days straight. She said it is like you get ‘hungry’ for it- it’s true…my cells and body loved it and as I continued to detox the nasties, I began to notice the feeling of super energy and literally started calling it my anti aging box. Then the day came when I no longer wanted to go in- I took a break for almost 2 months before I felt like going in again. Right now I am in about twice a week, and that just comes and goes.
When Dr. Staninger discovered this therapy, she tested all the manufacturers to determine who was creating the proper frequency or wavelength during the session. MPS Global was the only one and this is important because this correct wavelength is also helping your cells to remember their own natural far infrared property. When you are creating your own; you will not need it is as much. You are re-training your body to function in its natural far infrared state.
During the the detox phases, the main symptom you may notice is sleeping…you may need more sleep during this time so be sure you can give yourself that important and natural re-building time.
Almost everyone is reporting they feel the energizing of it like being on an exercise program…charged up during the day and then deep sleep at night…for most of us that experienced the itching, stinging, and biting sensations on the skin, this will be one of the first signs of relief you will notice from this therapy. It was and still is my life saver, I can not speak about this enough, but I’ll stop for now!
Here is a quick video of tour of my sauna. You will notice it is different from the one at Dr. Staninger’s office. She has an older model so if and when you purchase one it will be like mine. The sauna itself is made from untreated cedar wood and is not made to be pretty. The folks at MPS Global realized this is a big investment so they decided not to make it fancy on the outside. Your investment is 100% in the active carbon pure zirconium panels. This is what makes the sauna so heavy as well. It is the technology that is important and they wanted it to be as affordable as possible.
This is the best piece of health and life insurance I ever purchased!
