Italian Court Links MMR Vaccine With Autism
News hit the wire on June 16, 2012 that an Italian court, awarded approximately $220,000 US to the parents of an autistic boy, determining the MMR vaccine was the cause.
The Bocca family’s lawyer who specializes in helping families with vaccine-damaged children, proclaimed that the Rimini court judgment was the ‘first public admission’ that the MMR vaccine could, in some cases, lead to a healthy child developing autism.
Antonio Barboni, a doctor of forensic medicine was appointed by the judge to independently advise the court, wrote a report saying that ‘in the absence of any other pre-existing conditions’ it is a ‘reasonable scientific probability’ that Valentino’s autism can be ‘traced back to the administration of the MMR vaccine . . . by the health authority’.
Dr Barboni’s findings were endorsed by two other eminent doctors who examined Valentino, investigated his medical background, and gave evidence to the court hearing.
The number of autism cases has soared over the past four decades in Britain — at the last count researchers found one in 64 British children have some kind of autistic condition. In the Eighties, only four in every 10,000 children showed any signs of autism.
In the US, the numbers tell a similar story:

Below is an excerpt from Richard C. Deth, PhD, written as an Open Letter to Gov. Linda Lingle during her office term while she evaluated legislation to remove thimerosal from vaccines in Hawaii:
“I am a neuropharmacologist and Full Professor at Northeastern University in Boston who has been investigating the molecular origins of neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders…
…In further studies we showed that thimerosal inhibits a key cellular process called “methylation”, in which various activities, including gene expression, are controlled by the transfer of a single carbon atom. Methylation is closely linked to oxidative stress, and when thimerosal induces oxidative stress, it also causes impaired methylation.
Again, blood tests in autistic children show that they have impaired methylation.
Furthermore, metabolic therapies that help restore methylation have been able to improve the clinical symptoms of many autistic children, strongly indicating that this metabolic dysfunction plays a central role.
Genetic studies have also revealed a higher frequency of risk-inducing polymorphisms and mutations affecting methylation and sulfur metabolism. Our most recent research indicates that the brain has a particularly higher vulnerability to oxidative stress, which helps explain why neurological problems occur with low doses of thimerosal.

Even though the FDA states thimerosal has been reduced in vaccines, it is still used in the Influenza series of shots.
So what did I learn today that I want to highlight in closing?
If you decide to go the immunization route with your child, begin the proper medical documentation to chart all steps, including close monitoring of your child’s health progression through each stage by your pediatrician.
This may help provide evidence to the Vaccine Court if ever a problem of vaccine injury were to arise.
Get a full schedule of the vaccines and ask questions like; if Hepatitis B is a sexually transmitted disease or transmitted from contact with infected blood and no one in my family and close friends circle has it, why does my brand new infant need this vaccination at birth and again at 2 months old?
If you actively engage your doctor in this type of questioning, you might be surprised, they may give you some more honest answers than the marketing consultants hired by pharamceutical companies.
