Is It Okay To Mention Morgellons To The Alternative Doctors?

After sending one reader a list for her area, she asked, “Is it okay to mention Morgellons to them?”

No matter what kind of doctor you speak with, the better (more acceptable) term to use these days is ‘hyper-toxicity’.

Many have discovered there is a lot of fear and mis-representation that has occurred in the last 5 or so years on the Morgellons term, but the main reason to say, “I am loaded with toxins” is because toxicity is the main issue behind Morgellons, and all disease for that matter.

High Levels of Radiation as Cesium-137 Confirmed in Our Oceans

radiationCNN news reports the presence of Cesium-137 collected in water samples off the coast of Japan are worrisome to the nation’s nuclear safety agency because this radioactive isotope has a long half life.

‘Half life’ refers to how long it takes a substance to decay half it’s value, and was originally coined to describe unstable atoms found in radioactive decay.

After Wednesday afternoon’s sample showed levels of 527 times the standard, Michael Friedlander, US based nuclear engineer comments on this concern because, “Plankton absorbs the cesium, the fish eat the plankton, the bigger fish eat smaller fish — so every step you go up the food chain, the concentration of cesium gets                                      higher.”

Besides Cesium-137, we have very alarming spikes of the radioactive iodine-131 isotope.

“The amount in the samples, taken Wednesday some 330 meters (361 yards) into the Pacific Ocean, has surged to 4,385 times above the regulatory limit. This tops the previous day’s reading of 3,355 times above the standard — and an exponential spike over the 104-times increase measured just last Friday.”

More reports from sources like ABC news are following the radiative contamination showing up in our US milk supply.

Lemon vs Cancer, Guess Who Wins?!

I have been drinking at least one glass of water with a 1/2 squeezed lemon in it every day since the news in January that pharmaceutical companies are in a race to patent the ‘secret ingredient’ that is killing cancer cells.

In fact, it is reported that lemons are 10 times stronger than chemotherapy!

Detox Diet Guidelines

Many folks do not realize the impact that their daily eating habits have on the success of their recovery program. A detox and re-build program is directly affected by the type of food eaten, yesterday, today and tomorrow.

In order to fully capitalize on a recovery program, we must make some diet changes as well.
I don’t like being a ‘soup nazi’ but the more fresh, organically/locally grown, alive foods that are eaten- the more we will affect our health and increase the efficacy of any other product or regime we are employing.

Our reader’s feedback in just the last few days has been about the increase in symptoms, pains, and general complaints…and guess what most folks have been doing for the last few weeks?
Eating more sugar, drinking more alcohol, eating away from their own homes, etc.

This demonstrates a direct correlation between what we eat and how we feel!

Here is a list of top offenders that can and will mess with your health!
Stop eating these foods:
*Modified food starch or version of like corn (read the label of cheerios, salad dressings, sauces, crackers, most packaged food).

*Any sugar source that is not ‘cane sugar’ including artificial ones. (Stevia is good, try the actual herb, it tastes much better!)

*All corn and soy products unless they specifically say GMO-free.

*Dairy unless it is organic (dairy has some of the highest doses of zeno estrogens- one of worst things for womens health and are endocrine disruptors).

*Bottle spices w/ any thing but the dried herb listed on label – start using fresh ones, they will naturally detox you.

*Sodas and fast food- very very bad!

*Do not drink bottled or carbonated water- the research now proves 100% that city water is better than bottled! There is plastic in all bottle water, plastic is the main toxin that is contributing to Morgellons symptoms.

*Hydrogenated and trans oils.

*Food from a box, able to heat in a microwave…or labeled ‘instant’ like certain desserts.

*MSG of any name this link has a great list of all the names assumed for MSG.

Unfortunately the news is out that the FDA is allowing ingredients that are on our hit list to simply not be listed any longer.
The latest is Neotame, a revamp of the artificial sweeteners that are proven to be carcinogenic and hazardous to our health, now have permission to use them even in organic processed foods without mentioning it on the label.

This doesn’t make our job easier, obviously, but it does mean that the more live, fresh foods we eat, the less likely we are going to be poisoned by toxins hiding in our food.

It is a simple solution, eat fresh or take your chances.
Okay, I am definitely sounding like a soup nazi now… :-)

So if we make the best choices we can every day, and then keep the detox protocols handy for flushing any time we feel the system get overloaded, we can enjoy ourselves and stay healthy.

Eliminate these other products:
*use of over the counter medicines/cold, allergy, etc.

*use of chemicals for cleaning.

*antibacterial and antimicrobial soaps.

*cooking w/ microwave.

Taurine, The Universal Detoxifier

taurineTaurine has been a relatively uncommon supplement  in the health and wellness world. However, Taurine is an important amino acid that helps detoxify the body and assists the processes involved in your metabolism, nervous system, brain and visual pathways.

Dr Staninger has referred to Taurine as a “universal detoxifier”. It helps activate and catalyze the necessary processes for our body to flush toxins properly.

Taurine helps stabilize cell membranes by allowing the passage of sodium and potassium ions in and out of the cells in your body.

It is a naturally occurring amino acid and part of our bile that is found in the lower intestine. Cysteine, methionine and Vitamin E is needed to synthesize Taurine.
