The Fungus and Mycotoxin Connection to Disease
Here is an excerpt from one of our newsletters called The Fungus and Mycotoxin Connection to Disease.
A mycotoxin is a highly toxic principle produced by molds or fungi. There is substantial evidence (blood tests, autopsies, and contaminated gas masks) that the former U.S.S.R. have used such lethal agents derived from mycotoxins in Afghanistan, just as many other countries have used these lethal agents throughout the dawn of history.
The human body, once exposed to a mycotoxin, runs a triple risk to its toxic effects. The triple risk factors are the direct toxic effect of the mycotoxin, acquisition of mutated RNAi from the mycotoxin’s parent fungus, and creation of an internal biofilm, which will harbor a toxic soup of disease.
(Biofilms result in bacteria, algae, and fungi growing together as a communal colony with microtubules connecting to each other to exchange nutrients.) …
…However, the most toxic forms of fungi mycotoxins are coming from our food… want to read more?

There Is No Magic Bullet
The mood and climate around the Morgellons network is definitely one of frustration and disappointment.
Many have been desperately seeking answers to a ‘mysterious skin disease’ that has been plaguing some for than 20 years.
The political climate within the medical community, both conventional and alternative, has stepped up a whole other level and it is not good news for anyone expecting the knight in shining armor to show up and hand us a magic pill for cure.
Over the last 8 months, we have watched and learned a lot about the HIDDEN AGENDAS surrounding our ability to get well:
1. there are professional alignments between Drs and Scientists with Institutions and Companies that make them sign NDAs (Non Disclosure Agreements) so they are literally silenced from speaking the truth
2. there are state medical boards stepping in and demanding doctors do not treat the condition called “Morgellons”
3. the CDC itself handed it’s own investigation over to the military
4. This group of sufferers continue to rely on the internet for any answers and unfortunately there is A LOT of dis-information being circulated.
The point here is to understand the ‘Game’ but do not be distracted by the ‘Blame’.
We will not recover if we continue wasting time arguing and accusing, we must stay focused on what it will take to become well.
Needless to say, our entire health care system is in quite a pickle. We must move ahead and educate because self responsibility is the KEY WE ALL HOLD for how we want our lives to look and feel.
What is Dr Staninger doing?
This post is written as the sole opinion of Ramona Melvin. These are my personal views and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of anyone else associated with the team at the Healing Grapevine.
I speak only for myself.
I am raising the white flag to openly discuss the issue of why Dr Staninger is trying to discredit the HGV.
It was only 2 months ago, in early June, that we were visiting her in LA. We gave her the first full outline on the membership site that would incorporate her protocol for recovery and the next details for what was needed to make this happen.
I will not go into a long airing of details, but we came away from that trip aware that we needed to re-work our agreement with her.
Among some of our decisions, the business partners here at the HGV decided we no longer wanted to carry Dr. Staninger’s entire line of endorsed products. Some of these are associated with her protocol for treating Morgellons and many are not.
We offered to re-build her own webstore for less than half the cost normally entailed because we wanted to be sure she had her own ability to sell anything she wanted.
What happened next came from a single moment of miscommunication. A misunderstanding that we have tried to correct many times; however, it is impossible to do so since she has refused to participate.
Trisha Springstead RN Joins Forces With Healing Grapevine
The Healing Grapevine Welcomes Trisha Springstead, RN to our growing team of health care professionals that are on the cutting edge and in the trenches to deal with the rising issue of toxicity and the multi-dimensional ramifications these toxins are causing to our health and well-being.
We have been polluting our body system from the inside out for so long that the straw is now breaking the camel’s back.
Trisha states we must stop using, eating, and drinking out of plastic and must remediate our systems of the heavy metal loads, dangerous diets and polluted water we have all been exposed to.
Trisha has worked with over 300 people over the last 5 years who came to her describing and suffering from the classic list of Morgellons symptoms.
Today she has networked with a group of professionals that want to create centers that will provide support and non-toxic protocols to help those who need to recover, and she is bringing that network to us!
Trisha has been in the healing profession since she was 22 years old. She is an RN with a Master’s in Science and has worked in all areas of medicine including ICU, ER, Burn, Surgical, Medical and Wound care. She was also an administrative supervisor, Headed a 44 bed Cardiac Unit and was a Clinical Educator for 2 HMA hospitals.

Is This Skin Rash On My Leg Morgellons Again?
I have just returned from a week’s visit to my old home area of Wisconsin Dells, WI.
It was the first week of August and even though the weather was milder than it had been in July, it was still incredibly muggy, moldy, and mosquito-y.
The point of this post is based on some research that our team has been following on the potential exposure for Morgellons coming from the world of GMOs aka ’super bugs’ or agri-bacterium vectors.
Many readers may already know that one hypothesis of the early vectors for my exposure came from the Wis Dells area when a man-made lake flooded and then broke the levy and drained into the Wisconsin river. This left a large swampy area right in the heart of this tourist town and right at the beginning of their money making season.
The city took agressive action and began spraying a full arsenal on the area to prevent the Mosquito population from taking advantage. At one time there were tiny, strange bugs covering the window screens and that seems to be the beginning of what became our nightmare for about the next 8 months.
Across our readership, we have many folks with Morgellons that report living in big Agri areas such as WI with lots of spraying occuring around them. During my visit last week, one day I noticed the chem-trail activity associated with aerial spraying over largely populated areas.
Electrolytes And The Migraine Headache
We have had such positive feedback from one of our newsletters about an easy to make at home recipe for restoring electrolytes that we want to share it through our blog.
As the Healing Grapevine Team continues to educate ourselves on the basic physiology interactions within our body, and how important some of the lesser known factors are to recovering and maintaining our health and vitality, we marvel at the ones that are simple to correct.
An electrolyte is full of ions, which are atoms that have some sort of net electric charge, either positive or negative. The more common ions needed for the human body are sodium bicarbonate or chloride, magnesium, potassium, and calcium and they are required by cells to regulate the electric charge and flow of water molecules across the cell membrane.
It is electrolytes that make the muscles ‘fire’ and move…without them your heart would not have the electrical power to pump your blood.
Many of our readers primarily drink a distilled water during their detox protocol but remember the other side of that equation is to rebuild. Try this recipe instead of one of the popular store brands that are loaded with poor quality sugars, artificial colors and flavors.
1 liter water
2 tablespoon sweetener (honey)
1/2 tsp salt (non-iodized sea salt is best)
1/2 tsp baking soda (Red Mill brand non-aluminum)
Think Well, Be Well
Today we want to share an inspiring story of recovery.
Jill Bolte Taylor is a scientist with a passion and mission to spread hope. In less than an hour she went from vibrant, active, and healthy to a near vegetable. Her brain functions shut down effecting her motion, speech, and self-awareness.
As a brain research scientist she was given the greatest field experience she never would have expected to add to her resume. One day Jill Taylor suffered a massive stroke to the left side of her brain. She woke up in the hospital shocked to be alive and worked eight long years to recover so that she could share her story.
She now travels the country on behalf of the Harvard Brain Bank and is a spokesperson/living model to the possibility of recovering from a brain injury and being even better than before.
What does this have to do with you? Over the last 6 months we have so many folks ask, will I ever recover from this Morgellons nightmare?
Watch her eighteen minute talk on Ted.com and be reminded about the true reality of our nature. It is our spirit that enables us to rise above the battle ground, the power of our mind that focuses and motivates us to achieve, to heal, and live life well.
May this day be the next step forward in your own personal recovery.
The Healing Grapevine Team
ShareLyme Disease is a Diagnostic Nightmare
Last month our team went to a presentation by Ginger Savely, DNP, on one of most difficult diseases to both diagnosis and treat today; Lyme disease.
The focus of her topic were the challenges our medical community is facing in diagnosing this complex disease. Nearly the entire team of the Healing Grapevine has a story to tell about the debilitating episodes and long road to recovery that this dis-ease has so presented us. In my story published on the website, it was my friends that were able to help me recognize I was infected by the Borrelia burgdorferi bactierum. I had to convinced my clinic to give me the Western Blot test for confirmation.
We have just a published a new Lyme disease article titled ‘Lyme The Diagnostic Nightmare‘. Here is an excerpt:
Dr. Savely is one of the few experts on the front lines for both Lyme and Morgellons disease and she supports the idea there is a Lyme connection with Morgellons. To consider the less known and still widely debated information that Lyme is a genetically engineered organism (In the book ‘Lab 257′ by G. Enderlein, he suggest that Bb bacterium is an escaped man-made US military bio-warfare organism) combined with the data reported from Dr. Staninger stating the root cause of Morgellons is contamination from advanced nano materials, this makes an interesting case.
The Long Reach of the Gulf Oil Toxins
Yesterday I read a comment to a post from someone saying he was so glad he wasn’t anywhere near the Gulf Oil spill.
The question I have is…just who really believes this disaster will not affect their life and well-being. The unfortunate/inconvenient truth is - there is no place on earth that will not be affected by this calamity.
Just recently I connected with Trisha Springstead who is a nurse, activist, and scientist. She first came to my attention for developing an all natural skin care line without the many toxic ingredients that find their way into our supposedly ‘natural’ products.
However, it was when an email came across my desk about her personally going down to the coast of Alabama to collect samples of the crude oil washing up on the shoreline that I really sat up and asked her to share what she was discovering. Even though she was only there for a few days, she returned home ill and needed to employ a detox protocol to push out the toxins she had been exposed to.
Her latest post features an interview with Riki Ott, a marine biologist whose helping lead the campaign for reporting the true nature and damage that is occurring from the toxic dispersement Corexit 9500.
Please read the first part of this story on her blog at www.trishaspringstead.com and then follow to part two.
The Toxicology of Kidney Disease
Another one of Dr. Staninger’s research papers has just published on her website titled Exposure to Nephrotoxins.
This one is a pretty quick read and on the subject of nephrotoxins.
A nephrotoxin is any substance that causes injury to the kidneys. Our kidney is an extremely complex organ, both anatomically and functionally.
An excerpt: “In addition to the excretion of wastes, the kidney plays a significant role in the regulation of total body homeostasis; it is the predominant organ involved in regulation of extracellular fluid (ECF) volume and electrolyte composition. The kidney also is a major site of formation of hormones that influence systemic metabolic functions…”
She goes into detail on the specifications of nephrotoxins as well as many other factors that can ‘influence’ renal function and possibly lead to kidney disease. As always, our organ systems are very sophisticated and inter-connected - there are many variables that lead to problems with the kidneys but here is list from her paper of some of the top offenders:
Heavy Metals - mercury, cadmium, chromium, arsenic, gold, lead, iron, antimony, uranium, lead, zinc, nickel, and thallium.
Halogenated Hydrocarbons – chloroform, bromobenzene, hexachlorobutadiene, petroleum hydrocarbons.
Therapeutic Agents – microbivores, nanocomposites, analgesics, anesthetics, antibiotics/antivirals, antifungals, cephalosporins, tetracyclines, demeclocycline, Amphotericine B, antineoplastic agents (cisplatine)
Immunosuppressants – cyclosporine and others
Environmental Contaminants - herbicides, pesticides, hazardous wastes, substances, Chem Trails residues, fungicides, biological and chemical agents, advanced nano materials and biomaterials (microbivores), botanicals, mycotoxins, organic solvents, experimental tools/miscellaneous polymers.
